Happy New Year 2018

Happy new year!!!

I know it is a little bit late but better than nothing.

I hope everyone is doing well. It isn’t the best year I admit but let’s start this year with a positive attitude regardless.

Anyway, this year is a bit different for me. Usually, I celebrate the new year in my home.

No, it not because I don’t any friends.

I and my friends prefer to we make a small party in someone house and celebrate there. It is LAN party to be precise.

We prefer doing this because there are too many people outside, especially in the square. With the number of people and vehicles there, there is a risk that my car could be damaged.

Also, we like to play video games together. Normally we are too busy so we can’t do that. So, a moment like this is what we are looking for.

However, this year is different. Not only I went outside, I also celebrated the new year in a different country.

To be honest, it’s not that different. Maybe the only difference is that there are no active vehicles around when the year turns 2018 and it is a very cold night (22°C vs 2°C). Overall, it’s not that different.

In any case, have you make your 2018 goal?

My Personal Goal for 2018

There are several things I want to do in 2018. Most of them are habits that I want to have for the next year. Therefore, I don’t want to have too many goals. It is more important to reach the goal after all.

Write more

I love to do this more often. The problem I have right now is if I miss one day of writing, I would feel down. It prevents me to make a habit. I guess I shouldn’t mind it too much and just write as best as I can. So in 2018, I would like to write more blog post.

I would love to make “write daily” as my goal, so there would be new 365 posts for 2018. However, I think I shouldn’t set my goal too high. As long as I can add more content to this site, it is good enough.

Morning Routine

Until 6 years ago, I always wake up in the morning, preferably before 7.30 AM. Now, I sleep like a log. I could sleep from 9 PM to 9 AM and feels like I still need more sleep.

So this year, I would like to go back to how I was before, woke up at 6.30 AM or at the very least 7.30 AM.

Additionally, I would like to do morning routine before opening my computer/laptop. I realize the first thing I do after waking up is to open my computer, check my email, and then watch some youtube videos. The only exception to this is when I’m late.

Even though it makes my morning fun, it has to stop. It makes me forgot to do tasks such as brushing my teeth or wash my face. I need to do this to keep myself clean and healthy.

Y’know, when writing this, I don’t realize how silly these things are. Especially, the last part. But that is one more reason why I choose this as my goals for 2018.
